A New Look Site

Did you notice the new design?  Not only has the site undergone a make over  but I also took the decision to move my blog to a new home away from Blogger. Unfortunately that wasn’t as easy as I had hoped and has sadly meant I have lost all of the wonderful comments everyone had contributed.  So don’t go thinking I deleted your comments!

The new look is much cleaner and more professional What are your thoughts?  I’m new to this so any words of wisdom are much appreciated.

I tried to find a suitable image for this post something that depicted a reborn site.  In the end I couldn’t find anything suitable so the picture of a cosmos grown last year was called into service.

AboutIan

We moved into this house in 2013. At that time the garden was a blank canvas, This blog is a scrapbook of my gardening journey. Something I can look back on and remember the highs and lows, something that perhaps other people will enjoy reading and hopefully commenting on along the way.

  1. Your site is clean looking and easy to navigate, I am sure in time you will find an image you like. I am still trying to change my header one of these days and idea will come to me. Like you title.

    1. Thank you Norma. I think my blog will develop like my garden. I will start with a plan but it will just develop organically as new ideas come to me.

  2. I haven’t redesigned my blog in awhile, you’ve given me food for thought. As far as the cosmos, it’s lovely! I haven’t had much luck with them here, so I gave up on them. I’ll admire yours instead.

    1. I grew cosmos for the first time last year and they were a real surprise. I hadn’t realised how tall they would get or the number of flowers they would have.
